Bee-breads is a mixture of pollen, honey and the secretion
of the bee's salivary gland. These are collected by
bees and then transferred into cells of honeycomb.
In the hive, the mixtureis exposed to lactic fermentation
and because of this, bee-bread has higher absorbance
in the human body then pure pollen.
During Fermentation, the level of lactic
acid increases. This proctects the pollen from being
destroyed by the fermentation bacteria.
The nutritional value of bee-bread is much higher
than air dry pollen because the bee-bread fermentation
process preserves the orignal chemical composition
or the pollen.
The nutritional value of bee-bread is similar to pollen
but contains less proteins and fats and higher acid
and sugar levels.
Lactic acid level: 3.1%
Vitamins: A, B1, B2, B3, B6, B12, C, PP, E,
D, K, H
Macroelements: P, S, CI, K, Ca, Na
Microelements: Mg, Fe, Cu, Zn, Co, Mo, Se,
Cr, Ni, Si
Bee- Bread has nutritional, antibacterial and antitoxic
properties, and is especially recommended in preventing
and curing diseases of the intestines and nervous
system as well as anaemia, hypertension an acute exhaustion.
It is also very effective in curing prostate problems.
Maximum efficiency is achieved through a mix bee-bread
and honey because of the enzyme activity in honey
